
These 22 AEC-Q101 compliant 40V N-Channel MOSFETs feature IR proven Gen 12.7 channel technology. This technology provides ultra-low on-resistance for the D2Pak-7P, D2Pak, DPak, TO-262, IPAK, and TO-220 packages. The AUIRFS8409-7P, which uses the reference package D2Pak-7P, provides an on-resistance as low as 0.75mΩ at a 10Vgs voltage and a rated current up to 240A. The new devices have low conduction losses and avalanche performance, resulting in higher efficiency, power density, and reliability. Due to the superior performance of this new COOLiRFETTM device, many applications can significantly reduce operating temperatures compared to the most advanced MOSFET series.

All IR Automotive MOSFET products follow the automotive quality concept of zero defect in IR requirements, and have undergone dynamic and static device average testing and 100% automatic wafer-level visual inspection. The AEC-Q101 standard requires the device to have an on-resistance variation that does not exceed 20% after 1,000 temperature cycling tests. IR's new devices comply with the AEC-Q101 standard. The Bill of Materials is environmentally-friendly, lead-free, and complies with the RoHS directive.
