Cree has announced that LMH2 modules are being supplied to lighting manufacturers in Europe and Asia to meet the growing market demand worldwide. Designed to accelerate time-to-market, the breakthrough LMH2 module is the only LED module that offers 80 lm/W system efficacy and a color rendering index of over 90. The module uses Cree's innovative white LED technology, TrueWhite® technology.
The LMH2 module features a two-piece compact, compact structure that provides lighting manufacturers with the flexibility they need to quickly design and develop LED luminaires. The LMH2 module also features a primary thermal design that eliminates costly secondary heat dissipation designs. Optimized for downlights, spotlights, etc., the LMH2 module can be used in a wide range of lighting applications, including wall lights, chandeliers and other lighting fixtures used in homes, retail stores, museums, hotels and restaurants.
Cree said the new LMH2 module can help OEMs reduce initial costs and speed time-to-market. The LMH2 module is UL listed and meets many international regulations and safety standards. Cree is able to provide ENERGY STAR® certified luminaire manufacturers with product specifications and performance information, including the LM80 report, to help speed up certification body approval.

A flange can also be a plate or ring to form a rim at the end of a pipe when fastened to the pipe. A blind flange is a plate for covering or closing the end of a pipe. A flange joint is a connection of pipes, where the connecting pieces have flanges by which the parts are bolted together.
Although the word flange generally refers to the actual raised rim or lip of a fitting, many flanged plumbing fittings are themselves known as 'flanges':
There are many different flange standards to be found worldwide. To allow easy functionality and interchangeability, these are designed to have standardised dimensions. Common world standards include ASA/ASME (USA), PN/DIN (European), BS10 (British/Australian), and JIS/KS (Japanese/Korean). In the USA, ANSI stopped publishing B16.5 in 1996, and the standard is ASME B16.5
