1. Circuit principle
The circuit of the raindrop sound electronic hypnotic device is shown in Figure 1. The circuit consists of: a high-voltage generator, a rectifier and two neon bubble relaxation oscillators.
The high-voltage generator is composed of triode VT, coils L1-L3, etc. After pressing the switch "SB", the inductive feedback oscillator composed of L1, L2 and VT immediately starts to oscillate, and the oscillating voltage is boosted by coil L to obtain about 300 V high pressure. This high voltage is rectified by the diode VD to charge the capacitor C1, so a high voltage DC source can be obtained across the capacitor C1. The neon bulb V1, piezoelectric ceramic sheet B1, resistor R2 and V2, B2, R3 respectively constitute two relaxation oscillators, and its starting principle: the DC high voltage source of C1 passes through the resistors R2, R3 to the piezoelectric ceramic sheets B1, B2 respectively Charging (HTD ~ 27 A-type ceramic sheet has a capacitance of about 0.017uF), when this voltage is charged to the start-up voltage of neon bulb V1 (or V2) (about 60 ~ 80 V), the neon bulb discharge is turned on, piezoelectric The charge accumulated on the ceramic sheet is discharged, and the voltage drops. When it drops to the neon bubble's ignition voltage, the neon bubble stops glowing and turns off. The piezoelectric ceramic sheet will continue to charge through the resistors R2 and R3, making the voltage continuous Ascending ... so oscillating repeatedly. During the discharge of the piezoelectric ceramic sheet, the voltage across its two ends changes greatly. Due to the piezoelectric effect, the piezoelectric ceramics vibrate mechanically, so it emits a "click, click" sound similar to the sound of raindrops.
The novel hypnotic device introduced here can emit a raindrop sound with a double sound effect and has a good hypnotic effect.
2. Component selection and production
VT can use 3AX31B and other germanium PNP transistors, β≥50, VD can use 1N4007 and other silicon rectifier diodes, V1 and V2 can use NH0-4L and other neon bubbles with a starting voltage of about 60 to 80V.
R1 ~ R3 all use RTX-118W type carbon film resistors. If 100 MΩ high resistance resistors cannot be found, several resistors can be used in series. C1 requires the use of electrolytic capacitors with a voltage of 400 V or more. The transformer T needs to be self-made: it is wound with a GU18 type magnetic tank, 20 turns for L1, 30 turns for L2, and 500 turns for L3. They are all wound with Φ0.1 mm high-strength polyester enameled wire. G uses a large battery, "SB" is a small normally-open light touch key switch, and the piezoelectric ceramic sheet can use HTD-27A type.
The circuit of this machine is relatively simple, and there is no need to make a printed circuit board. It can be directly connected and installed in the plastic box with a terminal frame. In order to increase the volume, a plastic acoustic cavity should be made for the piezoelectric ceramic sheet, or a circular hole slightly smaller than the ceramic sheet can be opened in the plastic machine box, and then the piezoelectric ceramic sheet is pasted in the circular hole with epoxy resin In the first place, using the machine box as the auxiliary sound cavity has a very good effect.
3. Circuit debugging
First adjust the resistance R so that the voltage on the capacitor C1 is around 250-300 V. If the voltage cannot be adjusted up, the number of turns of the coil L3 may be too small. If there is no voltage at both ends of C1, it means that the high-voltage generator has not started to vibrate. It may be that the coils L1 and L2 are connected with the same name. The only problem is to adjust the two ends of L1 (or L2). The resistance of the resistor L2 (or L3) and the capacitance of the piezoelectric ceramic sheet B1 (or B2) will determine the level of the oscillation frequency. If the capacitance of the piezoelectric ceramic sheet is too small, the frequency of the raindrop sound will be too high and affect the hypnotic effect At this time, as long as the resistance of the resistor R2 (or R3) is large, it can be solved.
4. Use
Just press the switch "SB" before going to sleep, the capacitor C1 will be full of high voltage. The two relaxation oscillators start to oscillate immediately. Due to the discrete nature of the circuit elements, the oscillation frequencies of the two oscillators cannot be exactly the same, so they can produce double-sound raindrop sounds. When the switch "SB" is just pressed, the frequency of the raindrop sound will change from low to high, indicating that the voltage across C1 is increasing. After about 4 to 5 s (seconds), the tone will no longer rise, indicating that the voltage across C1 has Charge to the highest value. After releasing "SB", the hypnotic sound is a bit like the sound of wooden fish in the temple. Later, as the voltage across C1 drops, the hypnotic sound tone also drops, like the sound of raindrops. Later, it was like the two drops of water falling from the eaves, the sound of falling in the water tank, and the last drop of water chased the previous drop of water, which is due to the difference in frequency of the two oscillators. When about one drop per second, the voltage across C1 is less than the ignition voltage of the piezoelectric ceramic sheet, the circuit stops vibrating, and the piezoelectric ceramic sheet no longer produces sound. The circuit no longer consumes power. If you are not asleep at this time, you can press the switch "SB" again. Since the neon bubble relaxation oscillator consumes no electrode during operation, the circuit can work continuously for 40 to 50 minutes (minutes) each time SB is pressed. If you need to extend the working time, you can increase the capacity of capacitor C1. If the leakage current of capacitor C1 is large, it will greatly reduce the working time of the circuit after each key press, so you must pay attention to the size of the leakage current when selecting C1.
