Ito Toshiro (English Pinyin: Toyo Ito, Japanese Kana: ã„ã¨ã†ã¨ã‚ˆãŠ; 1941) is an important Japanese contemporary architect who won the Japan Architecture Academy Award and the Golden Lion Award at the Venice Architecture Biennale.
Ito Toyohun’s architectural philosophy is quite unique. He was influenced by the most important contemporary French philosopher Gilles Deleuze (1925-1995) and the Japanese philosopher Sosuke Mita, who passed his architectural concept. The concept of "Nomad" is played.

Graduated from the Department of Architecture at the University of Tokyo in 1965
1965-69 worked at Juzhu Qingxun Architectural Design Office
In 1971, he founded a design office called Urban Robot (URBOT).
In 1979, the firm changed its name to Ito Toshio Architects and is now the chairman of the company.
