Oculus joins thriller filmmakers to shoot the first horror VR movie

The famous thriller director Alexander Aga and Oculus are collaborating with VR studio Future Lighthouse to create their first terrorist VR series "Camfire Creepers". The partners signed the contract under the coordination of WME. Casey Cooper Johnson and Martin Andersen will co-produce with Ajia and write the first season script.

The horror film series directed by Alexander Aga ("Destination" and "Piranha 3D") will invite the audience to participate in a camp for campfires. A group of campers will alternately tell a horror story, and each story tells you Into your darkest childhood fear.

Inspired by classic works such as "Ghost Show" and "Cry", "Campfire Creepers" is one of the first drama immersive content that wants to bring more mainstream audiences into VR. According to Maplevision, Robert England will be one of the guest series (the most well-known is in the "Ghost Street" in the corner of Freddie Krueger).

In each episode, Alexander Aga and Future Lighthouse will use new camera movements, editing and macro shots to challenge the limits of VR storytelling, in an attempt to bring more thrilling and immersive experiences to the audience.

"Campfire Creepers" is currently in the process of being photographed, and it is understood that the first episode will be exclusively launched on the Oculus Store during Halloween this year.
